Sr. Accountant - Kewaskum, WI

Under the supervision of the Controller, this position assists various areas within the Accounting Department with emphasis on Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Accounts Receivable and Tax.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for financial statement reporting for management, board of directors and banks.
2. Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies. Compile, monitor, examine, and audit various financial statements/reports for accuracy and integrity and conformance to accepted accounting and program guidelines.
3. Assist in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports. Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances.
4. Assist with annual external audit and bank audit. Complete requested materials. Assist in preparing assigned schedules for the annual and interim audit.
5. Analyzes trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses for various sales divisions, and special projects.
6. Assist Accounts Receivable Department and perform backup duties for treasury management.
7. Prepare annual tax provision work papers and supervise sales/use tax reporting.
8. Offers suggestions about resource utilizations, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with an emphasis in GAAP Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Tax, and Accounts Receivable and/or
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Corporate Accounting/Audit
• CPA certification preferred

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Knowledge of JD Edwards is preferred

• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment

Event & Promotion Coordinator - Arlington, TX

Reporting to the Director of Sales Promotions, this position will serve as the event coordinator as well as develop, organize, coordinate and monitor promotion and incentive campaigns for Saladmaster.This position will work closely with internal and external teams by communicating with dealers on company approved promotions, events and incentives in order to increase sales and to recruit additional distributors throughout Saladmaster.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development and implementation of promotion and incentive campaigns.
2. Planning, project management and execution of all promotional activities at a high level of detail.
3. Manage the local promotions process, including reporting, incentive payments, auditing and ongoing improvements.
4. Facilitate coordination of event activity across all dealers while ensuring proper rules, regulations and procedures are being followed.
5. Assist in managing vendors associated with incentives.
6. Work with graphic designers to develop support materials such as brochures, flyers, scripts, videos and field communication.
7. Assist in preparation and drafting of documents and presentations.
8. Collaborate with all Saladmaster internal and external teams by providing feedback for new promotional literature and materials to support our distributor and customer base.
9. All aspects of event planning for domestic and international meetings and events.
10. Development and implementation of dealer incentives and campaign.
11. Calculate and approve company-wide standings which include contests results, program standings and campaigns statistics.
12. Dealer Activity Tracking Administrator (DATA) system support.

 Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4 or more years of Event Planning and/or Marketing experience
• Knowledge of Direct Sales industry is helpful but not required

Skills

• Prior experience with software design such as InDesign or Photoshop required
• Proficient with Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Prior experience with JD Edwards is helpful but not required
