The Regal Ware success story began in 1945, just two weeks before the end of World War II. James O. Reigle had a vision to create "the finest plant with the finest equipment to produce and sell the world's finest cooking ware." With this goal in mind, he purchased the Kewaskum Aluminum Company, a manufacturer of shell casings for the military. J.O. immediately re-tooled this factory to produce stainless steel sauce pans, which would be sold door-to-door.

Using successful sales and management strategies, numerous acquisitions and state-of-the-art equipment, J.O. Reigle established a company dedicated to innovative products designed with the health and nutrition of its customers in mind.
