Stacy Chapman Receives Regal Ware Worldwide Scholarship

Kewaskum, Wisconsin (June 26, 2007) - Stacy Chapman has been named the Regal Ware, Inc. scholarship recipient for 2007. To qualify for the scholarship a student must be a high school senior, maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and be the child of a Regal Ware employee. The scholarship is awarded on merit based on secondary school academic records, test scores, recommendations, and extracurricular activities. All applicants were interviewed and further evaluated on qualities of leadership, character, and motivation.

Stacy graduated 9th in her class of 331 students at West Bend East High School. In addition to Honor Roll recognition for her outstanding academic achievement of a 3.9GPA, Stacy has received the National English Merit Award, Outstanding Student Award, was recognized as a Rotary Student and Salutatorian. Extracurricular activities at school included the National Honor Society, Yearbook Staff, and School Newspaper. She is also an active volunteer, working with Sociedad Hispanica Honoria, Catholic Youth Outreach Ministry, Family Center Volunteer, Church Lector, Church Youth Representative, and serving as a tutor through Silverbrook Middle School. Stacy has worked with special education children in a summer school environment; and has shadowed several teachers at the Elementary School level. She is a member of the West Bend Power Volleyball Club, and received their Most Valuable Player award.

Stacy, daughter of Mark and Jean Chapman of West Bend, will receive an Academic Scholarship of $2,000 per year for 4 years as she pursues her education at Cardinal Stritch University, majoring in Elementary Education.
