Regal Ware Donation to Assist Flood Victims

The need for more water might be the last thing you would think of in the midst of this year’s flooding throughout the Midwest. Yet many drinking water sources have been contaminated as a result of the flooding.

On July 7 Regal Ware made a difference by providing 100 of their factory reconditioned AquaVie™ Healthy Water System units (valued at $24,000) to the Salvation Army for distribution to residences, schools, and shelters most in need.  According to the Salvation Army, many outlying areas have groundwater wells that are contaminated with e-coli and other bacteria.  The AquaVie™ unit, crafted at Regal Ware’s West Bend, Wisconsin manufacturing facility, removes 99.9% of all contaminants from water via distillation, and then adds the essential minerals calcium and magnesium to the water.  No plumbing is required for operation of the unit, making it an attractive option for the areas impacted by the flooding.

The units will be distributed by the Salvation Army’s Midwest Offices based in Fond du Lac and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
