Kewaskum, Wisconsin (August 26, 2023) – This summer, Regal Ware and SynergyOps employees volunteered at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County, preparing and serving lunch to over 140 children.
This lunch wrapped up a summer of service at the three Boys & Girls Club locations in Hartford, Jackson, and West Bend. Volunteers consisted of employees from Regal Ware’s headquarters in Kewaskum and their manufacturing division, SynergyOps, in West Bend. They assembled hot dogs on buns and plates with vegetables, fruit, other sides, and drinks. They also helped with serving lunches and cleanup.
Katrina Gongola, Regal Ware chief talent officer, spoke about how this organization strives to help the Washington County community.
“It’s really about helping our communities, where we live and work,” said Gongola. “So, this is where we’re at, and it’s important to us to support the families that have their kids come here.”
According to the release for the event, Regal Ware’s corporate social responsibility programming is committed to enriching the lives of families, specifically regarding hunger relief and educational opportunities for children. This partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County was a perfect fit for the company.
The volunteers also had great things to say about the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County as well. “I think that what they have for the kids here is wonderful,” Regal Ware volunteer Debbie Vorwerk said. “The staff that we’ve met are super people, and it’s just a really nice thing for the community, and that we can be part of it is really special.”
