Honoring the Next Generation: David Dorn Receives 2024 J.O. Reigle Scholarship

Kewaskum, WI (June 24, 2025) – Regal Ware is proud to announce David Dorn as the 2024 recipient of the J.O. Reigle Scholarship, awarded annually to a graduating senior from Kewaskum High School.

David, a standout student and community leader, was recognized for his academic achievements, volunteerism, and unwavering commitment to supporting others. The J.O. Reigle Scholarship was established in 1963 in memory of Regal Ware’s founder, J.O. Reigle, to honor his legacy of innovation, community spirit, and belief in the power of education. The scholarship supports local students in pursuing their passions while encouraging them to give back to their communities through their careers and leadership. David plans to study psychology with the goal of becoming a school counselor—a profession inspired by the profound impact that caring educators had on his own life. Through his involvement in National Honor Society, Mock Trial, Kewaskum Impact Crew, and a wide range of service initiatives, David has already made a lasting difference in the lives of his peers and younger students.

David was presented with the scholarship during Kewaskum High School’s awards ceremony, where he was congratulated by Ryan Reigle. His story is a testament to the lasting influence of educators, the importance of mentorship, and the impact young leaders can have on their communities. 

In addition to receiving the scholarship, David will begin interning this month at Regal Ware’s manufacturing division, SynergyOps, as a Continuous Improvement Intern at the company’s West Bend facility. This opportunity will allow him to gain hands-on experience in process improvement and operations while further developing skills that support his academic and career goals.
