Regal Ware Announces Recipients of 2021 J.O. Reigle Scholarships

Kewaskum, Wisconsin (March 9, 2021) – Lauren Sielski and Thomas Galleske are the latest recipients of the J.O. Reigle Scholarships awarded annually by Regal Ware. The scholarship program was established in 1963 in honor of Regal Ware’s founder, the late J.O. Reigle. The award recognizes the outstanding scholastic achievements of one or more graduating high school seniors in Kewaskum and is designed to assist the recipients in their pursuit of a college education. To be eligible for the $28,000 J.O. Reigle Scholarship a student must have attended Kewaskum High School for at least the previous 2 years and maintained at least a “B” average for the first 3½ years of high school.

Lauren plans to major in Biology followed by a Medical Degree in Oncology and will attend UW-Madison. Lauren has served in leadership roles in National Honor Society, KEY Club, Student Council, and serves as a Senior Class Officer. Her volunteer activities include assisting as a student teacher aid and fund raising for UNICEF to help children in Africa and for Pack the Pantry raising money for the Kewaskum Food Pantry. Her hobbies include baking, knitting, and traveling.

Thomas has plans to study Psychiatry with a major in a Biology or Neuroscience. He has served in leadership roles in KEY Club, National Honor Society, Chess, and serves as a Senior Class Officer. Thomas has been an active member of Kewaskum 4-H Club since kindergarten, serving as President, Secretary, Ambassador and Youth Leader. His leisure time interests include photography, baking, running, chess and collecting cacti.
